Building a large, arrogant Tower to climb up to God

People today aren't the only ones who think that fine clothing, big buildings and money are the object of our existence, as this story in the Book of Jeraneck about the Tower of Babel shows us:
Upon the next morning the prophet Araneck and the Captain of the army Shiblon did make the long walk to the plains of Shinar and they were walking for eight days and they came upon a hill that over looked the valley and plains of Shinar and they saw a great and mighty tower reaching above the clouds and into the sky and it did fill their hearts with great fear for they feared for the people.
Upon seeing the tower Araneck spoke, “You wicked, wicked people you cannot buy or walk your way into Heaven you must humble yourselves now, before the God of Heaven and of Earth does destroy you"
Upon hearing this, the people of the plains and valley of Shinar began to
shout and ridicule and throw rocks and dirt and all manner of things toward the Prophet and Shiblon, these are the words that the people said, “We do not need a Prophet for our king has promised that in the coming days we will walk with God in the Heavens, we do not need to humble ourselves before God for we have all the things we need to enter into his Kingdom, for instance the mighty tower and our fine clothing and our mighty storehouse and our money.”

Is the Pope hiding secret gospels?

Just saw this online and ... wow!

BRITISH MORMON PROPHET CHALLENGES POPE FRANCIS
TO RELEASE HIDDEN GOSPEL RECORDS
Says Vatican Must Reveal the Truth About Early Christian Writings

ASHBOURNE, DERBYSHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM – The Prophet of a British Mormon sect is challenging Pope Francis to come clean about possible “secret Gospels” hidden in the Vatican’s vaults and release them to the world.

Matthew P. Gill, the Prophet, Seer and Revelator of the Latter Day Church of Jesus Christ, says the new pope should be honest with the world about the Vatican’s contents. ...

(read the full statement here.)

The Book of Jeraneck is such a blessing to the world, I can't imagine how amazing it would be to have more revelations from God about Our Lord. I hope the Vatican isn't hiding anything, but if they are, I hope Pope Francis opens up those vaults to the world!

"I have been upon the watch towers..." Anguish of a dying civilization.

The Book of Jeraneck has many passages focusing on the anguish felt by those who saw their civilization collapsing around them. Here's a brief example:

“I have been upon the watch towers I have seen the destruction and the death that covers the whole land. I have heard the cries of the children and the mothers and the fathers. I have heard them beg for their lives. I have heard them cry for mercy. And I have cried and I have wept, for this land is now desolate and all our great buildings are gone.” Book of Jeraneck 17:29-3
